Roadrunners New Mascot
The Tucson Roadrunners have unveiled the name of the hockey team’s mascot. Dusty, the new mascot, was introduced to elementary students and will be making him debut on the ice at the team’s season opener. For the full story, click here.

New Movie Theater
The Tucson Market place is finishing up the final touches for the new movie theater. The theater will have 14 screens and will have a sign 58-feet above the theater, making the building arise over 100-feet into the air. Lumber Yard Reconstruction
A former midtown lumber yard is being reconstructed into a dining and entertainment venue. Currently the lumber yard is being cleared out and shaped to begin building up. The Yard Restaurant will be a 19,000-square-foot complex with food, fireplaces, games and more. The new restaurant is planned to cost $3 million and will hopefully be opened by next year.
