Kneaders Bakery and Cafe Opening
Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is having a grand opening for their new location off 9600 N. Oracle Road. Get free french toast and 10% off on October 1st and 2nd. All sales from the opening will be donated to a local high school. The restaurant plans to be open everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner, except Sundays. More locations are expected to come throughout Arizona this year.
Historic Hotel Closing
The historic Gadsden Hotel may close it’s doors soon. The 109-year-old hotel is known for it’s vintage extravagance and has been featured in ghost hunting TV shows and movies. Registering to Vote
Voting season is right around the corners as many Americans are lining up to register to vote for this year’s candidates. To register, or get more information about the registration process, click here. All voters are required to have an identification card and can be done online. The last day to register is October 10, and voting day is the following month.
Tucson Students Paid Internship
High school students in Tucson Unified School District are coming upon new opportunities to learn about the workforce through new internship programs. Last year, students interned in the automotive industries, but is now expanding to health care, hospitality, industrial, electrician, sports medicine and culinary arts this year. Educators and business owners are taking advantage of the program to train future employees who are passionate in the field.
