The Historic Downtown Plano Association is starting a downtown valet service to meet the demands of visitors coming to the area with a service of convenience. Due to the increased activity and population in Downtown Plano, the valet service was created as a move to accommodate the large amount of visitors. Learn more here.
Dollar Plus Family Store
September 1, the Dollar Plus Family Store is set to open a new location at 820 West Spring Creek Parkway, Suite 308, Plano. The discount store sells a variety of products, including clothing, appliances, toys, and house ware.
Next year, a European-style food hall, named Legacy Hall, will be opening in Plano’s Legacy West development. Legacy Hall was developed by the Food Hall Company and has welcomed a dozen award winning chefs to reflect the exquisite cuisine found in European restaurants. Historic Building Move
The Heritage Farmstead Museum is moving the historic Carriage House to become available for fall school tours. The house sits on a four-acre farm dating back over a century, and it one of North Texas’s oldest structure. The museum received a $75,000 grant to renovate and move the structure. Peanut Butter Drive
September 1 is the beginning the the 3rd annual Spreading Hope Peanut Butter Drive. The peanut butter will be donated to hungry children in the areaParticipants are asked to bring a regular sized peanut butter jar to the drop-off sites.
