It’s summer in Tucson! Here are some suggestions for things to do with the whole family during the last half of the month of July.

The Rogue Theatre: A House of Pomegranates
The Rogue Theatre presents “A House of Pomegranates” by Oscar Wilde, an adaption of three short stories-a comic murder mystery, a fairy tale, and a myth in Biblical style-exploring both the limitations and resilience of the human soul.

Peach Mania at Apple Annie’s
A celebration of Willcox peaches, featuring sweet and juicy tree-ripened peaches, starting with a delicious “All You Can Eat” peaches and pancakes breakfast served from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM each Saturday-Sunday. Take a free wagon ride and experience the fun of picking your own peaches. Enjoy free samples of peaches and dozens of peach products. Sit in the shade of our peach orchard and enjoy a slice of homemade peach pie or a bowl of homemade peach ice cream. Apple-smoked burger lunches will be served daily 11:30 AM -3:00 PM. Sweet Corn Festival
Sweet corn picked at the peak of the season is a treat you won’t want to miss. Many other vegetables will be available for you to pick. Enjoy hot roasted sweet corn and a great day of family fun on the farm at Apple Annie’s Produce & Pumpkins, in Willcox. (July 8-9, 15-16, 22-23, and 29-30).

Rillito Park Farmers Market-Sundays
This is a year-round open-air market is open on Sundays at Rillito Park Race Track. For easier entrance and exit out of the park, we recommend the River Road exit. (on the NE side of the parking lot) Shop for: apples, arugula, Asian greens, asparagus, blood oranges, broccoli, broccoli raab, beets, carrots, collards, fennel, greens, grapefruit,lLemons, lemongrass, lettuce, onions, parsnips, pinto beans, rhubarb, radishes, spinach, strawberries, turnips, Valencia oranges, and fresh eggs.
