With the Stay at Home order having expired in mid-May and the weather continuing to heat up, things are slowly starting to return to normal in the Tucson area! However we have listed some largely digital options for you this month, for those looking to remain indoors or snag a tasty local treat.
Loving The Loop: Virtual Trail Trek
On any given day, The Loop trail is populated with walkers, runners, cyclists (pedaling street, mountain and recumbent bikes and non-motorized scooters) and, in some sections, horseback riders. The Loop system of paved, shared-use paths and bike lanes surrounding Tucson is more than 130 miles long and brimming with uplifting natural scenery and fresh air. The paths are set on the banks of Tucson’s network of connected riverbeds that flow seasonally, adding to the fun and Instagram moments. Watch this virtual trek and see why looping The Loop is a totally Tucson experience. Opening video: Music by Tucson guitarist Gabriel Ayala.
