Through ten days of exhibitions, talks, and interactive experiences, national experts and local heroes will inspire the ideas and facilitate the connections that will empower us to act. TENWEST began in 2015 as Tucsons answer to South By Southwest, but has since developed into something much more uniquely Tucson. This October, 15,000 local, regional, and national attendees will come together to focus on solutions for creating social, environmental, and economic impact. The majority of TENWEST activities take place at the Tucson Convention Center, however, there are additional events that happen all over downtown Tucson locations. TENWEST Impact Festival has block room agreements with the following hotels. Spooktacular: A Fundraiser for Kid’s Chance of Southern Arizona
Kid’s Chance is an organization whose soul purpose is to be there for Arizona children with a parent who was seriously injured or killed in a workplace accident. This will be the third year they have held their fundraiser at Monterey Court. This year’s entertainment will include the bluegrass band Lizard Rock Ramblers among others. Here’s your chance to come out and support a great organization doing really important work here in the community for children. Monterey Court is a historic motor court first opened in 1938, and re-purposed in 2011 into a Restaurant, Bar, Music Venue and Artisan Enclave. Tuesday through Sunday we feature on our courtyard stage music acts and events both local & national, and sometimes even global. From your seats, patrons enjoy not only a great show, but a gourmet menu of dining delights, craft drinks, brews, and wines Most seats are under cover but all are shaded with cooling mists in the summer and numerous heaters in the chilly months to keep our audience comfortable. We have seating for 245 at tables with another 50 at the bar and scattered throughout the courtyard. Sunday mornings we offer a special brunch menu with musical accompaniment.
