HoCo Fest
On Labor Day weekend, the historic Hotel Congress in downtown Tucson celebrates with over 40 national and regional acts bringing their sound to town. HoCo Fest is Tucson’s oldest indoor/outdoor solar-powered multi-media festival with good eats and great drinks, featuring a vanguard, genre-spanning musical lineup, guest lecturers and producer workshops, vintage clothing and vinyl record fairs, specialized menus from acclaimed local restaurants, and a series of wild experimental afterparties.

Tohono Chul Exhibition: Dia de los Muertos
The celebration of El Día de los Muertos is a joyful occasion of remembrance, involving feasts and festivities through which death is recognized as a part of the natural process of living. Contemporary celebrations of this holiday bear both ancient traditions and a modern flair and have become a rich part of Tucson’s cultural heritage. This exhibition celebrates the creative ways artists honor and enliven this deeply meaningful holiday through artistic expressions of personal and universal significance, on exhibit at Tohono Chul Main Gallery.

Sizzling Summer Saturday
Spend a Sizzling September Saturday at Plaza Colonial Special reception:  Sizzling September Saturday, September 21st from 5 PM to 8 PM.  All the great Plaza Colonial merchants will be participating, including Wilde Meyer Gallery, Jane Hamilton fine Art, Karimi Rugs and Elements.  The month of September group show of gallery artists including favorites:  Karen Bezuidenhout, Nancy Pendleton, Judy Choate, Ka Fisher, Melissa Johnson, Charles Davison and more.

Celebrating Our 10th Year at Mini Time Machine
The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures will celebrate its 10th anniversary of sharing magic and wonder of miniatures with FREE admission. A great line-up of activities from community partners and performers include family craft activities in the Caitlin Suite with: Arizona History Museum, Children’s Museum Tucson/Oro Valley, The Drawing Studio, Postal History Foundation, Tucson Museum of Art, University of Arizona Museum of Art, and Valley of the Moon. Join Mr. Nature for an acoustic performance in the Enchanted Realm from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

JigJam From Ireland at The Sea Of Glass
The Sea Of Glass-Center For The Arts hosts a fun evening with JigJam from Ireland.  Blending the best of traditional Irish music with Bluegrass and Americana in a new genre which has been branded as ‘I-Grass’ (Irish influenced Bluegrass), their onstage energy along with their virtuosic musical ability has captivated audiences throughout the world.
